About HypnoBirthing®
"Helping you experience a calm and beautiful birth!"

HypnoBirthing®
The Mongan Method

Fearless…that is the key to a calm and more comfortable birth.  When you are free from fear your muscles are free of tension.  When your birthing muscles are not tense they are able to work in perfect harmony.  Marie Mongan is the founder of HypnoBirthing® and she has based her philosophy on the findings of the late Dr. Grantly Dick-Read.  His theories and work he did to forward natural childbirth are the inspiration for this program.  His work concluded that in the absence of fear and tension, or special medical circumstances, severe pain does not have to be an accompaniment of labor. HypnoBirthing® is more than a birthing method.  It gives back to you the confidence to trust your body and not be afraid of this incredible gift of bringing new life into the world.

HypnoBirthing® is not teaching you to give birth while in a trance or under a spell.  It is simply teaching you deep levels of relaxation so that your body can give birth the way it was designed to give birth.

"I just wanted to thank you for teaching our class in May. Mike and I welcomed our handsome son into the world Friday August 26! HypnoBirthing worked well for us and did 90% of labor at home. When we made it to the hospital I felt like I could push. An hour and 1/2 later we welcomed our amazing son into the world! I attribute a lot of Hypnoirthing to help through 7 hours of labor! Thanks for all your help and teaching us so much!" - Valerie, Greenwood Village, CO
